Download Live Livery Grid
Lightweight desktop companion and CSP Lua runtime for Assetto Corsa. Runs quietly in your Windows system tray and synchronizes community liveries in real-time.
Live Livery Grid Setup
Includes both the Windows system tray companion service and the Assetto Corsa Custom Shaders Patch Lua script in a single automated installer.
How to Set Up in 3 Minutes
No complicated manual copy-pasting. The installer does all the heavy lifting.
Run the Installer
Launch LiveLiveryGrid_Setup.exe. It detects your Steam Assetto Corsa path and installs the companion and the CSP Lua app automatically.
Pair Steam & Equip Skins
Open the app and log in with your Steam account. Choose liveries from the showroom and equip up to 5 cars simultaneously in your garage.
Start Assetto Corsa
Launch Assetto Corsa via Content Manager or Steam. As soon as you hit the track, your custom skin and those of other drivers stream live.
What Gets Installed on Your Computer
1. Desktop Companion Service
A native background utility written in Rust and DirectX. It talks to the cloud paddock, caches your downloaded skins in compressed format, and keeps memory usage below 25 MB while racing.
2. CSP Lua In-Game Runtime
Placed in assettocorsa/apps/lua/FSH_LiveLiveryGrid. It hooks into Custom Shaders Patch to bind liveries directly in VRAM without stuttering or server reconnects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do other drivers see my livery in multiplayer?
Yes. When other drivers in the server also have Live Livery Grid running, your livery is automatically downloaded and applied to your car on their screen in real-time.
Does this modify my original car files?
No. Your Assetto Corsa car folders and mod files remain 100% untouched. Custom Shaders Patch swaps textures dynamically in memory while on the track.
Will it consume lots of disk space?
No. Skins are stored as compressed packages. When you close Assetto Corsa, all temporary uncompressed textures in cache are automatically purged.
Do I have to keep the desktop app open while driving?
Yes, but it minimizes to your Windows system tray icon and uses 0% CPU while driving, communicating silently with the in-game Lua companion.
